📱 About this phone

Notes before you open it — you probably won't remember after a full day even if I got to tell you everything. The demo phone will do the rest.

• There's no PIN code.
• If you lose it, call me (number on my card) and I'll make the phone unusable so no private data is at risk. Rather don't, though — it's a good phone.
• As a demo phone in the USA you can just link it to home wifi or pop in a USA SIM card.
• There's a SIM with data in it right now — so you have a UK number until you leave. It's all prepaid.
• My number will be an icon — got a question? Just tap it.
• It's a very good second-hand rugged, waterproof phone — great for loud sets. You get to keep it — just throw away the SIM.
• The SIM will stop working when you arrive in the USA.
• Don't throw the phone away — it's worth quite a bit. I only replaced it because it got slow… then discovered a factory reset sorts that out.
• And since I found the fix is a factory reset, I'll probably get a newer model — which I'm delighted about.
